Same thing happened to me. Extremely unsatisfactory customer service response from ATT. I have had my mobile with them since Cingular was bought by ATT. I have all of my services with them (phone, tv, dsl).
My sbc account is my primary. I've had it for over a decade.
I just tweeted my bad experience so far to 10,000 followers & will start my Facebook campaign next. This is unacceptable.
ATT - If you're going to absorb an email service either support it or let everyone know you are not going to support it - then we can be proactive and make changes as needed.
How this is handled will guide my next steps with my services I have with them. This is the moment when a brand will do the right thing or begin to lose customers for a lifetime.
I am a CMO for an ad agency and we are social media specialists - the power is with the people - social media will allow us to spread messages far and wide. Dell's stock dropped 4% when they decided to respond poorly to one of their customers (who happened to know how to harness social to their advantage).
