The server settings changed well over 3 years ago. Yes, you have to use the following:
Pop: pop.att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 995
smtp: smtp.att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 465.
If you use the inbound.att.net & outbound.att.net, you get issues with loss of connection to the servers and such.
