Computer Joe, thank you for the contact to email the escalation team. I am experiencing this same problem after having DSL service with AT&T for *exactly* one year. Like others I have called tech support (if you can call it that) and they actually LOOK for reasons not to help me! I sent them an email so will see how they respond and will re-post here if they resolve this.
Here is a quick run-down of the issue, at the risk of duplicating what others have complained about:
My 6MBPS DSL service drops to an average of 0.3MBPS around 7am each morning and only in the very early morning hours between 1am and 6am do I get even CLOSE to what I pay for. I have troubleshooted this thing end to end repeatedly, changed out hardware, direct-connected to the Westell door jamb, etc. No love.
