Can't update apps -- "not sufficient memory"?
10-16-2012 04:50:13 PM
I have an AT&T Avail Z990 that I bought about 5 months ago. I've got a 16GB micro SD card in it; it's got 512 MB of RAM. My problem is I cannot update ANY of my apps that are on the phone, unless they are the apps that are installed to the SD card. There's so much bloatware on it -- apps that came with the phone that I've never used and may never use. I don't know what to do. I've tried to update a couple of apps and it tells me there's not enough memory to do so. I don't have many pictures on it, so those aren't taking up much room at all, I don't think. Is there anything I can do at all? Is there any way to delete some of the apps I never use? It's frustrating. Suggestions welcome.

This error message could be referring to the memory your phone is using to run apps, not necessarily the available storage on your phone.
Make sure you quit any apps that are running before you try to update.
