***Edited: I htin I must have misunderstood how this is written, as I just rebotted the RG and it was still at 0/512 right away, so that must not mean that it is maxed out?**
I see this in my 2wire:
"session table 978/1024 available, 0/512 used in inbound sessions"
Does this mean that all of my upstream NAT sessions are in use and I am maxing out the routers capicity?
The only upload of any significant right now is some files that I am FTP'ing to my web server. Otherwise it is just some light web traffic and netflix is playing.
The FTP upload is throttled and is only using 2/3 rds of my upload bandwidth. I have been throttling my backup program to this same speed and it seemed to keep everything working well. However tonight, page loads have again been really slow and I've been getting some network errors on my ftp uploads and they have had to quit and re-try.
I don't see any recent errors logged in the RG / 2wire. Right now I am connected directly to the 2wire and have no other router in place.
I read about these session limits being a potential problem, so I looked up what my RG said and found the line I posted above.
I don't have any servers that I run that are open to the public. No torrent, no games or anything else like that.
