Identity Theft and AT&T

Well...I have been a wireless customer for years.  Last summer (June 2012) I get an email from AT&T thanking me for ordering additional phones and a U-Verse System.  I contact them and tell them that I disn't order any service.  The representative infers that I did order it since all the information was in the system (DOB, CDL, SS#, etc.)  A second rep ("Camele") does a pretty good job on July 2nd and stops all the activity.  Well, a couple days later I get my wireless bill and there are charges on it.  Crossed in the mail I figured so I call and talk to a "Jason" who takes care of it.  So this brings me to current (January 2013) when I get a notice from a collection agency indicating that there is an open collection account on me from AT&T for the U-Verse account.  I tried to call both Customer Service and the Fraud Department, but they keep pointing me in the other direction.  One guy in Customer Service even tells me its because they believe that I know who it us.  Hey folks...I'm a law enforecement officer with perfect credit....if I want someone to have the product I'll pay for it!!!  Unbelieveable customer service from AT&T....maybe time to move on.  Anyone have any suggestions for me to fight big blue?
