Why can't I get a letter of order confirmation

I am have really exceeded exhaustion with my services with AT&T I placed an order on Jan. 2nd for a land line to be installed per my employer instructions. My order is still not complete and will not be until the 16th of Jan.  so I have been unable to work my scheduled hours.  I have been on the phone with AT&T trying to come up with a resolution to this and all I am asking for now from AT&T is a letter of confirmation that shows that I set up service on the 2nd of Jan. to give to my employer for unexcused absences. And yes I have spoken with several REPS. and a couple of SUPERS that have told me that AT&T would not be able to assist me with a confirmation letter.  I was also directed to call a local office and asked them if they would be able to assist me but the local office I called shows no record of an order even being placed and no one is even scheduled to come out on the 16th of Jan.  I have been mislead and misguided for way too long and will be placing a formal complaint in writing.  I would like to thank a couple of REPS that works for AT&T that tried their best to help me but couldn't. I'm open to any suggestions at this point.  #PrayingthatidonotlosemyJOB
