I'm not looking for a discount.....I wanted a landline and Uverse TV for her.  I was willing to pay for internet that she wouldn't even use just so she could get Uverse TV instead of Comcast.    Where the brick wall went up (and rudeness began) was when I asked for a credit toward the overpaying of her landline for the past 10 years.  Seems as though AT&Ts  customer service people are more into the sales aspect than taking care of customers because they were very pleasant when putting a bundle together for my mother.   AT&T needs to remember that pleasantries during the sales will only go so far if the customer isn't happy after the fact.  Contracts do expire and word of mouth is a lucrative part of business.....especially with all the social media options we have to "spread the word",

You asked for a credit for the past 10 years of service, and you are surprised that your request was meet with some resistance?
