Ordered at AT&T store on 11/2 @ 5pm EST in west Michigan.
Just went off backorder 11/7 around 10:30am

Shipped - currently on a plane out of Texas, UPS says it will deliver Monday by the end of the day.  And great timing because i JUSt shattered the FRONT glass plate on my iphone 4.  wow, and i was going to use it as a spare gaming device.   guess that won't happen

My mom ordered my phone at our local AT&T store on October 22. A white 16 gb iphone. I never recieved an email or anything so I am not sure when I am getting my phone. Should I call them to see since everyone around that date is getting their phones?

Yeah man, i think your best bet is to call, 

or you can try to track your order if you haven't already.

I ordered my BLK 16g iphone 5 at the ATT store on Oct 25. It went off backorder on Nov 5. But this monring, my shipping status came back to "backorder" again!!!  Yes, backorder again!!! So sad!!! what's wrong with the ATT!!!

I went into the store today and they said because of hurricane Sandy .. the plant where the phones are coming from is backed up now but howcome I still do not have a tracking number? They still never gave my mom one to begin with and they said I am number 3 in line for the white iphone but my mom already paid for it so we will see. The place they get their iphones was hit hard in New Jersey which of course is understandable so I will wait. 

Hopefully I get mine  in the two weeks.. I have already been in waiting for two months now.between deciding to take my mom's upgrade then just eventually taking my own upgrade. I have a 3g now which completely crashed on me. I have had it for 3 years so it's time has come. 

I ordered my iphone 16 g white on 10/27. It arrived 11/6. I love the phone. A little disappointed in the battery life. Maybe its just mine.

What are you getting?  LTE enabled phones do appear to have shorter battery life than we have seen previously.  You can turn off LTE in the cellular settings.  That may help and if you are in a non-LTE area has no impact to your use.

Ordered my iphone 16gb white on 11/7 around midnight online and added a new line of service to my family plan. Went off backorder 11/9, just checked my order status and it shipped this afternoon with 2 day delivery guaranteed to be at my home by 11/14, just in time to show it off on Thanksgiving. I can't wait!

Now I am getting a little impatient. Should I cancel my order with the AT&t in my town and order it online? Or just stick it out? The guy was just like iffy when I talked to him like yeah I don't when you are getting it. It already has been three weeks and he was like well you are number thre in line for the white phone. Does that mean they get one white phone to the store? My 3g is broken, I have been holding out for a month already.

on the phone, customer service just told me that it only takes 3 days to ship them now.

LOL amazed that this thread is still going; are there really still quite a few people out there still waiting on their pre-orders to ship?  Just asking cuz I was able to walk into Best Buy yesterday (yes, on Black Friday) and pick up an iPhone 5.  As far as having to wait in line and fighting the Black Friday crowds--I think I spent more time waiting for them to process my order/upgrade than I did waiting in line to get to the register...and the line wait wasn't that long at all--LOL!

LOL that would be very wishful thinking on my part but no, no BF discount...although Fry's was offering the Samsung Note II for $249.99 (2-year contract of course), plus a $50 Fry's gift card on top of that...or at least that's what was displayed in their online ad.  I was really tempted to get it at that price/deal but couldn't pull the trigger...

How long does AT&T processing usually take? I was able to pick up one of the $99 iPhone 5's on Black Friday and was wondering when I should expect it to ship. Still says processing after 4 days.
