I've been following this thread for the last couple days. I ordered my 16g white iPhone 5 on 10/29 over the phone, and it came off of backorder early this afternoon. Was surprised it happened so fast!

For premier orders you can just check status same way as normal orders I believe.

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I've been watching them looking for people who ordered recently to see what the backorder time was like. It looks like phones are shipping faster now! I hope everyone gets their phones soon, I know how hard it is to wait I ordered a 16 white in store on 11-1 and it's still backordered, but hopefully it won't take too long. Good luck to everyone!

What's the wait time from processing to shipping? I paid for expedited shipping. Has anyone paid for expediting shipping? If so, is that overnight or 2 day?

that's awful! my estimated delivery is 11/20/2012 To 11/29/2012 but that seems like forever away, i really hope it doesn't take that long.

my original order was october 1, at&t messed it up and cancelled, had to reorder oct 21, their t&c email glitched and they had to start a case for it, it was resolved oct 24, so that was my final order date barring another at&t screw up. finally off BO and waiting for shipping.

And yet the saga continues... My phone was supposed to be delivered to the store today, but instead, it's sitting in a UPS facility that's only 15 minutes away from the store. So much for "2nd day air" shipping...

Will try again (and expect more disapointment) tomorrow...
