IP Address on Iphone question!

I have noticed that the IP address on my iphone is constantly changing. When I post on a message board, in which it posts location based on IP address, the location always changes to various places around the world. My question is, does ATT keep this always changing IP address information saved as to when it was assigned to my iphone? Obviously my home computer would be easy, as it keeps the same IP. But I am curious if ATT keeps logs on the wireless IP info, especially considering ATT doesn't even save text messages due to space needed to save them. Thank you! I am looking for any solid information, we could speculate all day as to the answers.

Dynamic Ip's are the cause do they keep logs? Sure. Law officials are able to get the info. How long they keep the info? They probably won't say if it is not spelled out in the terms which you could read.

Thanks youngjm ... So it would basically take a subpoena to retrieve the info.

It's apparently 90 days, and getting access to that data from law enforcement is fairly trivial.
