Disabled iPhone 4 Stolen!

It's bad enough that I managed to lock myself out of my phone to the point of disabling it, but it was stolen tonight, It still has all my personal data, pictures, etc. I was racking my brain trying to think of how to recover pretty much the last two years of my life without wiping it out completely. Now, I'm really in a bind! Chances are, I'm up against a much more tech-savvy hack who can extract the data (personal identifying information!! Passwords!!), Is there any way to protect the contents of my iPhone without it in my possession besides reporting it as a Lost/Stolen device and suspending the service?

If you had Find My iPhone set up, and if the phone is on, you could remote wipe the phone (you could also find where it is). If the phone's off, or you didn't set up Find My iPhone, there is nothing you can do.

You need an icloud account.  Under the mail.....settings is a switch to turn it on.  Once on, you can log into www.icloud.com and find your iPhone and/or remote wipe it.

Re: Disabled iPhone 4 Stolen!

There's no way to recover the data without recovering the iPhone. If you didn't already have Find my iPhone setup, as others have noted, it's too late now. Sorry. At this point, you want to report it as a stolen device so the thief doesn't decide to use your account to call Europe or Asia on your tab. Any charges incurred by use of the phone until you report it stolen will be your responsibility.
