iPhone Signal Boost?

Okay.  I work in a public school, and my room is in the center of the building with no outside windows.  In other words, almost nonexistent signal for my iPhone 4.  I really don't think I would be allowed to connect anything to the school's internet/network ---like using a Microcell...  So do I have any other options to get a signal boost?

There have been some antena booster that have shown up on the internet for previous phones in the past but I do not know how good they are or if they even work.  You may be out of luck if you cannot access a signal booster like the microcell.
