Ugrading multiple Phones!

I succeed in upgrading 1 phone, and select moblie share plane voice and text, with moblie data share plan. Then when I go to add the second phone, it asked to select a data plan. I`m confused, if it`s a shared plan on the data and voice and text, why is it making me choose a second plan? Both phones should be under the plan i selected from the first phone.
Know where in support is there information on upgrading an account, and upgrading the rest of our phones to the same plan.
I would appreciate a step by step instruction on completing this, maybe with visual as well,,lol
I log into our account and click on one of the phones to upgrade, (at this time upgrade from basic phone to an Iphone) add phone I want to cart, skip acc, select voice plan, select data plan, select insurance and then to cart. Then select to ad the other phone to this plan by clicking on, add another line ec... enter the zip, phone number,..ect.. then After I select the same phone.,, I get loat from their from the plan choices again.
You know when I do not log in, and shop for phones, it has the option to select how many phones I want, then both phones go to cart in one bundle,,,,
I`m about to call it quits,, please help
