Guys thanks for your concern and heads up. I guess I was lucky to get a good rep. She called me today in the morning and credited my account by $275 (to cover taxes etc) and brought my upgrade price down to the actual price of $199 + taxes. Now I am just hoping I get the phone on the launch day as because of this whole issue, I wasn't able to order until 7:30 a.m. EST, though I stayed up since 3 am. Anyways, I am just happy to be able to sort this issue out. @rockingmom, Probably because your upgrade was pushed by 6 months and not being eligible for early upgrade, they didn't mention you about this. May be you could try asking them to terminate your contract but credit you with the ETF as an adjustment. I am pretty sure that wouldn't be much in your case. That way, you would be able to sign a new contract and still get your phone.
