When you live in the city, you have to be considerate of your neighbors - especially if you're building a new garage. Our neighbor's AT&T lines were going to be in the way of our new garage, so we called AT&T before the build started to move the lines out of the way. In the past two months I have made lots of phone call to very useless customer service people and had several techs come look at the situation only to say they didn't know what to do or that a supervisor would have to look into what they should do. NEVER got any calls back.
Needless to say, we didn't have any patience left. Especially since the garage was now finished and the wires had been in the way of the construction team and were now laying across the roof of our new garage. Each phone call was more and more useless. We got one person that said we had to be at home from 8AM until 8PM. IS THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE? Thankfully I spoke with Patrick in technical customer service who quickly scheduled a tech, gave me a proper job ticket number, really made me feel like something was finally going to be done. Then, Marty called us when he was on his way, took a look and said, I'll get those lines out of your way - within 30 minutes he had fixed what I had been frustrated with for two months! Patrick and Marty are the people we are all hoping to work with when we call customer service. So glad I finally got their help. I hate to say it, but AT&T needs to retrain EVERYONE else to be more like them.
I hope that Patrick and Marty can get some type of credit or acknowledgement for their GREAT customer service.
