If at all possible, it is best to avoid letting any company have your bank account information or use debit cards. When they steal from your bank account, even if it's their fault, you still lose the money until they give it back.

When you use a credit card, on the other hand, the CC company is on your side. If you report an unauthorized charge you get your money back until the charge is shown to be correct.
