yeah..who knows..Rogers isnt exactly the greatest at doing what they 'say' they will...at least in my experience..but it sounds like we have a light years advantage over you poor AT&T souls down there..but then again...AT&T's horrible customer service is legendary...even up here..and we dont even have it up here..to my knowledge...

Oh rooting or flashing your phone is great and you can always undo it should you have to send it in to get it fixed. I rooted a couple of off brand tablets to run the real android,
Yes I have never heard of anyone bricking it to the point they couldn't fix it. I would suggest you by a cheap used android phone to play around with the rooting and flashing before doing your phone.
yeah..i wish that was an option..but i just have the one phone...but im not totally computer illiterate...just phone illiterate its all brand new..my 1st smartphone..etc had a corby plus before this one..so..kinda a major jump
It let me do it. I don't have a full battery so it stopped me right before but it's showing the update is live.
You might need to update Kies? Right after I downloaded it and restarted my computer it updated itsself to a newer version. I'll let you all know when I've got it going.
