So, did anybody actually manage to make the Micro-cell work with Iphone 4?

I have read many threads in this an other websites and seems like its a dead-end.  

If you have Iphone 4 or 4s, People simply can NOT hear you.  Your calls will be very choppy and people will complain that they only hear 1 out of 3 words you say.  

Please do not even mention broadband speed issues.  I have a very fast download AND upload connections. And it is also NOT a problem about network priorities or other devices cometing for bandwith.

This does NOT happen on other NON Apple phones!

 

After reading many threads, some people recomend disabling celular data on your phone while connected through the microcell. I have confirmed that this DOES WORK.  It allows people to hear 9 our of 10 words you say, which is a BIG improvement, but the communication is NOT what I would expect after paying $200 for what ATT calls "full bars in your home"

Is there anbody out there with an Iphone 4 and a Microcell that has NOT experience these problems?

Yep....my wife has an iPhone 4 and does not have any of the problems you described.   We also just had a visitor for a few days and he was on his iPhone 4S through our MicroCell for many hours and never had a hiccup.

 

I don't know why ours works and yours doesn't, but I can tell you an iPhone 4 can indeed work connected through a MicroCell.

Same here. No problems with either version of the iPhone (3GS, 4S) and the MicroCell. Even our old Samsung 3Gs work just fine.

I have an Iphone4 and I just got my Micro cell yesterday and was ecstatic to see 5 bars if signal strength in my home at last.

That is untill i actually made a phone call ant no one could hear me. I think it's because I have WildBlue satalite service and I dont think its going to work.

I'm glad thay have a 30 day return policy.

Satellite internet service has extremely high latency.  ie.... when a packet of data is sent, it has to go up to the satellite, back down to earth, then a response goes back up and down again.  This round trip takes a LONG time.  This latency problem makes voice over IP practically useless.
