using 2 microcells in one house with one modem

Hi everyone,
Im new to the forum. I was one of the first ATT customers to ever get a microcell. Ive been using it for years and it works great. Thankfully I can at least get some kind of service when I am around it!
Unfortunately the Microcell does not cover very much of my house. The way I have the microcell hooked up is the modem to the microcell to my apple airport extreme (this was the only way to set it up when the mcell first came out because the mcell didnt work with airport extremes. Its worked the way I have it set up so Ive never changed it). At another end of my house I have a netgear accesspoint to extend the wifi range of my internet. I would like to use a 2nd mcell and connect it to my netgear access point.
I have 2 questions:
- Will the mcell work if its connected to an accesspoint or wifi range extender if there is no modem connected to the accesspoint?
- My accesspoint only has one ethernet port which is used, can I use an ethernet switch so then plug the mcell into?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
