Here is our story we are still working on resolving the problem. My husband and I had a no contract plan with a differant company for years my daughter offered for us to join their plan with att. I am telling all these little details in case this has anything to do with the issue. We were able to keep our old phone numbers. The first week everything worked great we could conect to our wifi with our phones but our laptop wasnt connecting so our cable provider comcast sent us a new router thats when it started. The phones would no longer connect ok but heres where it gets strange anybody else can connect to our wifi so it has to be our phonesstrange it would be both so we go to att we can connect to every wifi but ours and every body else can connect to ours. Cable company was here for two hours cant figure it out. We did factory resets that didnt help att cant figure it out so they sent us new phones same thing so now we have new phones coming again but a differant kind. So to sum it up we cant connect to our home wifi but everyone else can we can connect to any other wifi and we are talking my husband and my phone and even with the two new phones. Att and comcast cabt figure it out.
what router did comcast send you, sound more like the phones are trying to connect via a secured connection that is not setup on the router. If you can post the brand and model number might be able to did diwn deeper and look, also the phone types would be a great piece of information also.
