I waited for the Galaxy Note 2 to be released for over a month and then once it was released we were the third carrier to release it. Then after waiting it does not even come with headphones which Sprint, and T-mobile both did. Not mention they came in a actual Samsung box similar to the Galaxy S3 but not AT&T version they decided to make up there own box and steal the headphones while they were at it. Now to the multi-window why is sprint release the update before AT&T and I was just at Best Buy and they have there display model up and it comes stock with the multi-window. I'm very disappointed with AT&T.
i have 3 days with at&t i am a new customer with 2 year contract Come on AT&T get it together and make your customers happy your said to be the second largest mobile provider...

I agree 100% with you, AT&T needs to step it up. I hope we get the update soon, ive been with them for years and havent ever been this upset. Please AT&T, listen to your loyal customers, our concerns should be your #1 priority, i called the other week to ask about the update and I got nothing but an "I dont know" from the rep. Im sure someone has the authority to make it happen, im sick of asking questions and not getting answers. Your competitors are way ahead of the game, they already have multi-window, KEEP UP!!!!

The 2nd largest carrier that doesn't have a clue what their own customer are saying about their performence on get updates.
The other carries are putting them to shame and have cheaper data and phone plans....making the customer making the switch over a no brainer.
Get it togather AT&T coming from a longtime customer!!

This is one of the reasons I moved from iPhone and bought the Note 2. I was looking at Verzion as well and thought this was a standard feature. AT&T give us the feature PLEASE!

Great news. Now I may not have to leave AT&T. I have been with them for many years before they became Cingular and back to AT&T. We will see.

Good News. I may not have to leave after all. Now if they would just unlock the Junk pay per month apps and Bloat ware so it can be un installed we would be all set. Sorry for double post. The first message was actually posted at 3AM and didn't show up until hours later.
Happy Holidays !

Rollout may be coming, starting today. As posted on other threads...thanks to those who found it first:
Here's AT&T's full statement:
AT&T plans to begin rolling out a software update for Samsung Galaxy Note II customers that includes the Multi-Window feature, which allows the user to divide the screen into two active "windows" creating a split screen that enables fluid multitasking between applications. The update will be available for download over the air beginning Dec. 27.

Still silence on this, as far as I can tell. $300 and a new stupid 2 year contract and they refuse to release a major feature on Jelly Bean. This may be the straw for me and my family of 5 including 3 smart phones. I'll take my $3K+ per year to another carrier when my 2 year sentence is completed!
UPDATE: After posting this complaint, I found an update I thought had installed successfully a week or two ago...but apparently did not finish. I have multi-window mode now. Interesting that, in both cases, I had to manually search for and initiate the update.
