Is anybody having trouble when phone sleeps with wi-fi on?
My Samsung Rugby Pro does this. When Wi-Fi is on, sometimes it won't receive phone calls and texts. Calls to the phone go to voice mail, without ringing the phone and without showing up in the call log. It acts like the phone is off. When I turn off wi-fi, it receives a backlog of texts, and incoming calls work again.
I tried changing the 'keep wi-fi on during sleep' setting to 'Always', 'Only when plugged in' and 'Never', also tried resetting the phone and removing skype.
Any suggesions?

I am having the exact same issue. I have the galaxy note 2 and it is happening on a daily basis. Usually, my phone get's an alert from google voice that I have a voice mail. So, I put it in airplane mode, and back out of airplane mode (faster than rebooting), then I get bombarded with texts that have been missed while my phone decided to go dead to the world, and most of those texts are "why aren't you answering your phone?" I have already done a warranty replacement, same issue. Called AT&T and their only options are to do another warranty replacement, add another line and pay for another phone since I can not upgrade, or just live with it. I got angry enough to tell AT&T I wanted to cancel, then they threw the ETF warning at me. I asked them to waive it since their service is not working, and they refuse. I have been with AT&T since 1998 (before cingular and back again) and I feel like I'm being slapped in the face. The manager I spoke with was condenscending and very rude. I have never had this problem before with a phone. I had the galaxy note 1 and it worked flawlessly for a year. Any advice?

I also have the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy III. I did not know it was related to the wifi. I tested it and sure enough when I turned the wifi off and then turned it back on, my test message came through. I left the voice mail while I was testing a voicemail app. I used my husbands phone to call my phone and my phone did not ring (this is the main problem for me. I use it for business and I can't be missing calls). I just got this phone and I took it back and they changed the SIM card and that did not work. My husband got the same phone and he has the same problem. I am really disappointed that I am going to have to return this phone and get an IPhone or go back to my old IPhone which is a 3G. Does not work as good as my new Samsung Galaxy, but at least I received my calls.

sounds like a fault in the phone, you also need to be aware that the buyers remorse is 14 days, so if you are getting close better do it as quickly as possible

I'm having to same problem with an HTC One X. If I'm on any wifi signal I won't get texts or calls sometimes. As soon as turn off wifi I start getting all my texts and voicemail from calls that never showed on my phone. Does AT&T not want my to use WiFi!?!? My fiance has the same problem with the same phone.
