are you out of contract? Are you eligible for an upgrade?
Are you waiting for a specific phone to come out?
Just curious. I'm out of contract and waiting for the funds and a phone I can't live without

I started month to month with my Treo Pro. I'm hoping to snag a shiny new BB soonish; the Onyx and Magnum look so nice!
Same here, only I brought in a BB 8310, that I was using on prepaid. I plan on getting the BB Onyx, however, I will pay the full retail price for it, so I can remain a month-to-month customer, just like I did when I bought the BB Bold that I'm using now.

I got my Fuze only a few months ago after dumping the Epix. I plan to upgrade to the Fortress as soon as it is out. Having a business account, our account executive told me that our upgrades are actuallly based on usage (how much we spend) and not based on a time owning the device
Did they state how often you'll be eligible for a new device?

I didnt ask, but I will find out for you and post it here. We have 22 phone in the company and I am not sure how they calculate it. I believe our account executive said this is the case now with regular accounts too, but I may have misunderstood, but will definitely ask and post her answer here.

I am not eligible now for upgrade, but if I were I wouldn't. Still like my BJII too much.
Unless they have something really fabulous, I may go back to a non smart, qwerty phone when the time comes. I'm not seeing the good in my smart phone when my daughter does what I do with her Propel. Though I have recently found a use for my Office program that is nice.

AT&T has a lot of nice non-smartphone QWERTY devices out now. I remember only a year ago, when the only good QWERTY devices that you could get, were smartphones.....

I've been having the same thoughts. Smartphones versus dumb phones. theyre becoming more similair. So I wonder if I need to spend the money on a smart phone to do what I do with my phone. What do you use yours for? I use.. Free ringtones,games,wallpapers,.. I use video, texts,, phone calls..lol.. No data.. IM.. Pictures.. calander.. calculator.. If I can find plenty of free apps on a dumb phone.. I wonder if I need the headache of a smartphone..

So true! Phones used to be so pricey if you wanted the keyboard feature.. Now there's so many choices..

Yep, that's how I ended up with my BJII. I wanted a QWERTY and all that had it was the smartphones.
I use the phone, texts, appointment, and email. I use yahoo for my friends and family and it can be accessed thru medianet now, also there is a mobile version of comcast that lets me acces my Comcast account. I very seldom use the opera mini browser. Like I said before I do use the Office Word app now, I have some info save that originated as a word doc. Thats nice but I could give it up for a non smart phone.

i just upgraded to a new phone for the first time in over 3 years a SE w518a I love the phone and they saved me money by waiving the upgrade fee for being a loyal customer for so long with Cingular/ AT&T and they changed my family data plan rate to save me money
i love this phone and they treated me really great and im glad i renewed with them sometimes i get a weak signal in certain places but i dont think anyone gets a perfect signal always but overall i'm very happy with the way they've treated me they called me twice this week to make sure im happy with my new phone and plan features they really bent over backwards for me

No contracts here
I'm always switching devices. I have two 8310 curves, my E71x, Nokia 6650, Rugby, and even a few brick Nokias that still work. My E71x blows all my other phones out of the water as far as power features go, sorry iPhone people but my phone has got you beat.
