I am currently experiencing issues with my Motorola Atrix. It's shutting down by itself-had to pull the battery to get it to even turn back on. It says the battery is low when its not., Weird stuff. If I wanted to switch phones to say a iphone 3gs..(borrowed phone of course.) is there anything I need to do? I won't lose my data plan or my text messaging plan will I?
My Device: iPhone 4, Samsung Captivate

You will need to call AT&T customer service and switch your data plan from a regular smartphone data plan to an iPhone-specific plan. Sounds kind of silly, but I suppose the plans have differences that affect the functionality of the two types of phones. Your messaging plan should remain intact.

Try wiping your phone or getting a new battery.
