Samsung SGH-A867 (Unsupported File Type)

I recently purchased a program off the internet and after installing it on my phone it says unsupported file type. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It will help if you list the program you downloaded and tried to install; I am not saying I know the answer but it will help someone else if they may know the answer.
