I was unable to get a Samsung Evergreen A667 cell phone at my local AT&T stores. So I went online an purchased one off of Amazon.com. Now I see that it comes up as "Telus" instead of AT&T. I purchased this phone as it seems to do and be everything I was looking for in a phone. Will the fact it is a "Telus" phone impact me in any way I need to be aware of? I can make calls and send text messages without any problems (as far as I know). But, when traveling in the Lower 48 will I still be able to use this phone without any problems?
BTW, I do not use the browser or play music or other such activities.

Here is one thing to consider. Is your phone locked or unlocked? It sounds like the phone is unlocked because you can make and receive calls from it. If you are using AT&T service on that unlocked phone, you should be fine to use it in the lower 48 states.

Well, since the phone is unlocked, all you will have to do is to sign up for AT&T Wireless service and get a SIM card activated. Then you can put the SIM card in and you are good to go for making and receiving calls. In terms of receiving text messages and such, I think you will ahve to get the settings from AT&T so that you can configure the phone to run on their network.
