Just bought the new Pantech Ease and downloaded the PC Suite.
Couldn't find the USB driver to connect.
Called support, transferred to tech support, transferred to Pantech tech support.
Pantech couldn't help.
I noticed that in all prior posts for all missing Pantech USB drivers, there was a reference to the drivers being with the downloaded PC Suite.
Went to C: Program Files Pantech and, sure enough, there was the driver installation package.
PTQH_V1_4583_1215_SETUP
Set cautioned to make sure USB was not plugged in and then installed.
Plugged in Phone and recognized immediately.![]()

I was confused too. but on the phone if you go into Settings, Connectivity and then Select USB Mode, it will automatically install the driver.

emcquid, I had already tried that and it didn't work.
If anyone in ATT Tech support is monitoring this board, they may want to check this since they didn't have an answer and referred me to Pantech and you can see what their response was.
I went to:
C: Program Files(x86), Pantech, Pantech PC Suite, P2020, USB Driver, PTQH_V1_1_4583_1215_SETUP
Ran the PTQH......Application and it installed the driver. Even cautioned to not have the device plugged in until completed.
Interesting thing is that ATT and Pantech support could not help.
Here's Pantech's answer to my email query:
"Dear Pete,
Thank you for contacting Pantech Technical Support.
Your Case Number for this issue is: #31173100730
Unfortunately 64-bit operating systems are not supported at this time."
Here was their first answer:
Dear Pete,
Thank you for contacting Pantech Technical Support.
Your Case Number for this issue is: #31173100730
There are no usb drivers as its included in the PC Suite software. All you
need is the proper PC Suite software installed to transfer pictures/data
from your phone to your computer.
On the bottom right hand corner of the PC Suite software it should say
"P2020 Connected" once you see that, go ahead and select File Manager to
transfer data between your phone and computer.

Wow...thanks! I used all information posted to get my PC Suite downloaded and running. Can anyone answer WHY my saved pictures from my computer (all in .jpeg format!) will not download to phone? Phone screen tells me that "file is corrupt or not supported." Ready to throw it across the room..........

I just bought the Pantech Ease, and discovered that Pantech PC Suite is not supported under Windows 7, and Pantech Support does not know if or when it will. Further, if you want to move pics (jpeg files) from your PC to the Pantech by copying the files manually by moving a Micro SD between the PC and the Phone, the files will appear as corrupted if they are greater than 2MB in size.

Instructions worked great. Found the file and ran it. Just make sure your phone is NOT connected to the PC when you run the setup file. Didn't even need to reboot!

Thanks. Your post was the most helpful of any post out there. After frustration and waisted time, I am finally completely connected. It seems like a simple step for AT&T and Pantech supports to have known. Thanks again

Trying to get the USB driver for Pantech Ease P2020. I am on Windows XP and have had no luck with the PC Suite install. When I run the .exe file I downloaded from their web site, I get a msg that it's not a "valid Win32 application." No one at AT&T has been able to help. Been to the store 3 times. I emailed Pantech support 4 days ago and no response. What a pain! Should be such a simple operation. I have not been able to find the setup file mentioned in earlier posts, which seems to be for Windows 7 systems anyway. Anyone have a link to a Windows XP version of the PC Suite setup file?

i have downloaded and ran Pantech PC Suite (P2020) but Windows Vista does not recognize my device and will not sync. "Not Connected" is still shown at the bottom right corner.
I need to sync in order to import my Microsoft Outlook contact info. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
BTW...what I find iriating is - phone powers off when slide shut. I returned the first and was confirmed that it's defective but I experience the same issue with the replacement. Does this happen to anyone else?

At&t gave me this phone as a replacement when my samsung phone, which I love, went kaput. They said they didn't make the samsung anymore which I think was wrong because not only was it a new model, I talked to someone who had just gotten it. All that aside, this pantech I have is so horrible to use. I am only forced to use it until I can get my new phone. It does not have T9 when replying to a text message which drives me crazy to tap tap tap. And then this whole thing with the driver not being found online or anywhere else. I have pics that I would like to get off of my phone and music I would like to put on. I read that you have to get a mass storage card to insert? Sheesh. I don't like the phone to begin with and now I have to put money into it just to have it do what other phones automatically do? Ugh. Well, maybe I will just have to go and do it so at least I can save my pics and videos before I trash it. And then on to a new one. Thank you for the information though. I have had this phone for a while and was quite confused on what it needed exactly. Have a great day and thanks again for the info! ![]()

Excellent advice, and worked for me on a new Pantech Discover. Great phone so far (after 24 hours with it).
Thanks for posting this (simple) fix.

Dear Mod(s):
Unless it's a scripting error, you moved this to the wrong forum =P
