Can't connect computer to ZTE Z221 Bluetooth...

So far I can see my phone on my computers Devices. When I search for devices on my phone, it does show my computer's name and asles for passcode. I type in 0000 as this is the default passcode for most bluetooth devices get an error that it's wrong. What do I do now. All I want to do is transfer some ringtones to my pone from my computer.

Usually when pairing a computer to a phone, you have to create a password to make the connection, and the password has to be entered on bothe the computer and the phone. If you can see the phone in Bluetooth devices on the computer, right-click it and pick connect. It should prompt you for a password.

There was no option to create a passcode.

now that someone posted the most illogical reason, the most logical is that the version of bluetooth that is running on the phone or computer does not support the pairing at the device level so you can access the phone as a drive letter, If I recall right it came about with version 2.0 or higher and I beleive it has to support profile FTP, what are you running on the computer for a bluetooth adapter?

Hi I think u need to enter the passcode first in the computer like 1234 or 0000 and later u need to enter the same passcode over the phone is 1234 or 0000 then both phone and ur computer will sync together then u can transfer files to and fro to ur phone from ur computer !

My Z221 bluetooth works out of the box. Don't know why the OP was having a problem.
