why is customer service so bad with at&t

I have made excuses to  others who have gone into our local office for years. I read in our paper (police log) where there is always an "irrate customer" in the at&t office. I have personally gone in and dealt with some of it before but, ok so everyone has a bad day now and then I always think.

 BUT today I lost it with that warrenton oregon store and after almost 15 yrs with at&t I am thinking it may be time to move on. When you go into a store because your phone is broken and the man is not listening to you, talking loudly OVER what you are saying and being very RUDE and then has the nerve to try to act like it is MY fault ?? No there is no more excuses this was out and out rude behavior and completely unecessary and maybe at&t needs more training in their 97146 zip code store because it is not normal to have so many irrate customers!!!!

What has happened to good customer service and why do these places get away with the way they treat customers, too bad for them we have been GOOD customers.

Hi judys59. What was it that you wanted him to do with your broken phone, may I ask?? Is your phone still under warranty? Did you try calling the ATT Warranty Dept, if so?? 

You know, I have also read posts of irate customers but, to tell you the truth, the ATT corp store that I deal with, there is none of this nonsense with the CRS's. There is simply no excuse for the way some CSR's act and I don't blame you for voicing your opinion.

Nice list drum_bass but if I was in the postiton that I needed to go to Device Support Center, I'd have to drive an hour and half. There really need to be MORE of these places. Maybe the OP doesn't have one near to where they live??

Warranty's number is 800 801 1101 open late throughout the week. Only other option would be to see if you have insurance or get another phone.
