Voice msg and phone record

For a voice msg on my iphone, I could not locate the corresponding entry on the "call details" of my phone record/bill. Is this normal?

If you were not in signal range, it will not show the call. It only shows the call if your phone receives the call.

Hi Kdfederer, thanks for your response. I did not hear the phone rang at the time, so the call went straight to the voice message. The voice msg is still on my phone with the time stamp, but somehow I can't find this particular call on my phone bill.

How long has the call been on your phone? your bill is not realtime, meaning if you call someone today it will not show up on your bill until later.

It is possible it came in from an alternate call source not through the cellular network
