Sporadic connectivity

Dear AT&T,

I have had AT&T wireless internet for over a year now and have had nothing but problems. I can't tell you how many times I've called customer service, power cycled my router, and my connection still sucks. It tells the people at AT&T it's good, but when they have me run diagnostics on speed the DL speed was .6 (please notice the  .  in front of the 6). They have sent me a new router, had people come out to test it. Nothing helps. (Side note: the people who have tried to help have all been very sweet)

It's the elite internet that is supposed to be good for gaming. I raid 3 times a week in an MMO and there is nothing more frustrating than being mid fight and having a window pop up saying something stupid about my router's compatability, crashing the game. (Although trying to watch a show and it pausing for 5 minutes at a time is comparable).

So, anyway I'm looking for some kind of recompence for the internet for which I have been paying but not recieving. When things would get really bad or really frustrating I took screen shots. So here is a little scrap book I put together.

I looked for a support email address but couldn't find one. I tried calling, but despite having 4 bars, I keep getting disconnected (my cell is also AT&T), which aggitates an already frustrating situation. So, that's why I've posted instead.

Unfortunately it is a Firmware issue with the modem, some people have set IE and other browsers they use to clear out the cookies and such every time they bring the browser up some have changed the DNS server as well to Googles, but most have changed out the modem to something else as a permanent solution Motorola has not come out a with a firmware update that AT&T has agreed to yet.

I went from IE to Firefox to Google Chrome. But why would my cookies from a browser have an effect on the modem compatability? Especially when no browser is involved. Only the Everquest II application, advanced combat tracker and teamspeak are open during a raid - no browsers.

Sorry, not modem... It's a router - no modem. I started with one router, I don't remember what it was but they told me it was the problem and sent me a 4111N router.

Switched to charter today. Problem solved - my wireless connection now actually works wirelessly.
