During my checkout, the options that were given to me were UPS 2nd day delivery for free and UPS overnight delivery for $14.95. I of course chose the UPS 2nd day delivery for free. However, on my order status page, it says that it will take 2-5 business days for my package to be sent out and that all packages will be sent by fedex. So when exactly am I getting my package?? Did they lie about the UPS 2nd day delivery?? I would like to get it two days from the day I ordered. How long did it take for yours to come by what method?
Also, they WAAAAAY overcharged for the estimated tax (for the phone and activation fee that I had to pay during checkout). Do they usually do that? Will my final tax be what I should have? It was ridiculously 15% of my total! Do they charge tax for activation fee?
If I wanted to return or do an exchange, can I go to an at&t store instead of having to ship it back to the online store? Do they charge me for shipping it back to them? Do they charge a restocking fee?
At&t customer service sucks and I'm beginning to regret my order from all the potential problems ahead.

If you want to return call first to customer care ( I know you don't want to but hey better be safe than sorry) and see if it is an option to take to store but if you do get the chance to return to store better make sure you get something to say you returned it or exchanged it the store does not update stock that is supposed to be return to original point of sale.. If I member right they do not charge to ship it back they send you a return label (just track the # they send to you most times starts with 610).. for the tzxes I believe they do charge with the activation fee and for the shipping it to you most times is within 1 to 2 days most ppl I hear from get it the next day.. the only time I hear of it being longer if it is not in stock when the order goes through, but that is rare. As for who ships it can be either ups, fedex or dhl

Thanks for answering some of my questions.
A few questions left:
I ordered on Wednesday with UPS 2nd day delivery, when will I be getting my package? My order status says it is still processing.
Why is the estimated tax so much on the phone and activation fee? Will the final tax be lower?
Will they charge me a restocking fee if I return it back to the online store.

You might want to contact the on-line store customer service for answers to your questions; it's possible the order hasn't truly been processed yet, in which case anyone here would just be guessing as to when you'll receive the phone. And they will be able to look at the sales tax issue for you as well.
The number for the on-line order support is 1-866-689-1876.
As long as you return your phone in like new condition (and everything that came with it) there are no restocking fees - other than for the iPhone (as I recall).
