Reporting robo fraud - calls from 717-***-**** [ Edited ]

Please AT&T ban this number from your network.  It is a fraudulant robo call from a 'law firm' saying that they are collectin on unpaid bills.  They call daily and are known to be fraudulent.  Google the number, tnos of people are complaining!

Doesn't ATT have online tools that allow you to block a number?  I know Verizon does.

Remember that AT&T has no official presence here so it's no use asking to ban that number here in the forums. If you want to complain about that phone number I would recommend you to call Customer Service calling at 611 or 800 331-0500.

We have been receiving annoying robo-calls from a (720) 452-  Colorado exchange for several weeks with rotating last four numbers. AT&T seems unable or unwilling to do anything about it except try and charge another $5 a month to block them, which won't work and  should be their job and not cost the subscriber! SInce they are totally unhelpful, we are switching to Verizon wireless. AT&T stinks!

I get the "lower credit card rates" calls all the time on my cell phone.  And, it's registered in the Do Not Call list.  I think AT&T truly doesn't care about this annoyance to their customers.  This alone may make me consider a change in providers.

If you are on the Do Not Call List, be sure to go on their website and report this caller every time they call you.

Also, have you tried calling them back and telling them not to call anymore? It could be that someone was behind on their bills, and picked a phone number at random to give their creditors so they would no longer receive calls. I know it's a hassle to call, but it just might put an end to the calls. This law firm or whoever it is may not know that they have the wrong number.
