Our land line AT&T phones went out the night of Feb 28, 2013 . We checked a working phone at the pole. No dial tone there either. We have reported this at least 4 times. I spoke with a live represented and explained our problem. I also explained that my husband is cardiac patient waiting for VA to call with appointment to surgically insert a defibrillator. He is diagnosed as a prime candidate for SUDDEN CARDIAC DEATH. We live in a very rural area where cell phones are not able to receive a signal. There are not any close neighbors. When I spoke to a live agent she assured us that our repair would be expedited. Eventually my son called AT&T and was told that our line is broken. Sine a repair agent has not been out here I don't really believe them. As of today, March 7th,we have been without a phone line for 7 days and out contact with emergency medical aid. WHO can get this line repaired. I have called and called.
