I don't know where to go to put this in the right hands, I saw this method in a forum, I sure hope it can be addressed...
Today I called 611 to have a rep go over my bill with me as it was higher due to upgrades, and I wanted to make sure I understood it clearly. The other reason I called was to make sure an international plan was ready to go for my upcoming trip abroad.
When we were looking at the bill the AT&T Representitive, Cameron W. not only took me though my questions he also helped me understand them. Then he went above and beyond - and for this he deserves (as well as AT&T) full credit. Cameron told me he could credit my account for the upgrade fees a big savings on a big bill for us. THEN he discovered some charges from third parties that he cancelled and credited as well. All told Cameron was able to almost cut my bill in half, even with the prorations, something that I was not expecting. I didn't even ask, rather he took it upon himself to provide some of the best customer service I have ever been aquainted with.
Next we confirmed the international plans on my phones, and he clearly and explictly explained how it works and some tips for me to make sure we stay within the restrictions. He used ancedotal stories of others that did not know or heed the advice and made it clear, yet comfortable for me to use AT&T abroad.
Cameron actually made the half hour experience fly by. He saved this valued customer some much needed money and made one of the most aprehensive tasks of calling a megacompany customer service... ENJOYABLE!
I truly appreciate the efforts, tone, knowledge and great job that Cameron did.
