Looks like you have an iPhone judging from your signature. If so, try resetting your phone by holding in the power and home button until the Apple logo appears. If this doesn't work, take your Sim card out for a few 20 seconds, and reinstall it again. Once in, power your iPhone back on again.

As well, one step I usually have customers try is taking out the SIM card, check if the gold contacts are dirty. If so, wipe carefully with a soft cloth, reinsert SIM card.
