I've been going back and forth with Customer Support over something I want to do / want to be made available. I'm on a family share plan with 700 minuets, unlimited N&W's, unlimited M2M and unlimited texting along with two other users other than myself. The current problem is that user one can use all 700 of those minuets before user two or user three have a chance to make any calls and whenever user two or user three use their phone it sends us into overtime minuets and starts charging us out the wazoo for our calls plus any charges for what user one goes over as well.
I know there are features which allow me to control which numbers are called and when the calls are made inside of the smart limits add-on but that isn't what I want to do. Customer Service volunteered to limit the aggregate number of minuets that user one used but that's not what I want to do either... again, N&W & M2M are free so I don't want the airtime used for them counted against the limit.
WHAT I WANT TO DO: Is to be able to limit thenumber of anytime minuets that user one uses without having to impose limits on the overall number of minuets used (because the N&W and M2M minuets are free). Seems to me it should be something that relativley simple to do since AT&T is already categorizing the minuet usages on my bill sumary online (ie seperate columns for each category- "Anytime," "N&W," etc.).

you cant if your wanting to stop or slow the 1 user from using majority of limits the only options avail to you are this:
1 suspend the line so they cant use the phone
2 raise your rate plan to get more minutes
3 smart limits limit time of day restrictions and blocked numbers
4 break them off the family plan and have their own individual plan
5 cancel the service
