I was told that there is a discount for native americans, but can't find any info on it. There was a post here about it a couple years ago that pulls up in search but I cannot access it. Does anyone know anything about this? THX

Hi there!
I'm not aware of such a discount, however, you may view this page: http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/ to see if your school/ job does offer a discount. ![]()
Hope that helps!

Calling customer service would not help as there is not way they can tell if a business/organization offers a discount. The only way customer service can look into discounts is if you have the FAN number, which if you have the FAN number then you already know a discount is offered. Best way is to go online if you have a work email, or go to a company owned store with proof of employment or affiliation such as a employee ID badge, paycheck stub, copy of w-2
TBH, I highly doubt native americans get a discount.

I think there are HIGHLY discounted plans for native Americans living on certain reservations..And when I mean highly I mean 99 cents for EVERYTHING unlimited..So if you live on a reservation I would definitely check and see if that applies to you..But I know pretty much nothing about these plans just that I have seen them before.

To my knoledge, there are "rate plans" specific for people who reside on the reservations in North and South Dakota only. The rates are low, but they exclude the ability to access data (i.e. MMS and internet browsing). So ....If you want a smartphone for the data access and apps, you would need a regular rate plan.

Maybe a tribal business plan or something along those lines like the plan for teachers but a discount just for being an indian would be absurd .

I also have seen the post about a discount for Native Americans that the OP mentioned, but it was a few years ago. I can't recall what it stated.
