Dear ATT,
The TV AD you have running depicting a horrible marriage and disrespectful wife is absolutly trash. I suggest you fire the team that came up with the lousy idea as I and many others I know are simply turning your service off because of such a nasty horrible ad.

Really?! I thought the AD was pretty funny. And are you actually turning off your service because of that commercial?

Razr8..is this the same commercial I was talking about...the one that I said is deceiving?? I don't think ANY commercial is worth cacelling their cell service over. I wonder if the OP knows she may get charged ETF fees if his/her contract isn't up? Is it worth it??? ![]()

That's right. Because without it, it would not exist.

It seems that every commercial AT&T releases on television is "bad" - a.k.a. customers do not agree with it and dislike it. What next? Tsk...Tsk...

LOL!! IT IS the same commercial I was talking about...just saw it on tv.
Really, though, it IS only a commercial and not worth cancelling their service over. Disrespectful??? This is 2011....

I didn't take it that you looked like her...so I guess you are one step ahead of yourself.

Personally, if I were that husband, I would tell her to have John Clark pay her cell phone bill as I was packing my bags to find someone better. I would never disconnect my phone service because of a tacky commercial, but it sure doesn't do anything to boost my opinion of ATT.

My name IS John Clark. Jeez people, its a commercial, get over it. I am more offended by the Bear family that they use to advertise toilet paper. Maybe I'll just stop using toilet paper in protest. And yes, you SHOULD have married John Clark !

Its a martial joke. Everyone knows that when a husband or wife make any changes to any kind of account, they generally talk it over with their spouse or "partner", when this is not done it can raise questions like "how much is that going to cost?"
This commerical simply displays this.
Are you offended because it was the wife/woman being rude, or would you feel the same way if the roles were swapped? Its a joke, get over it.

The "offensive" comment remind of someone elses post who thought the ATT "long invisible cord" commercial was offensive....
To this day I STILL cant see whats so bad about that commercial (actually like how he silently says "why I oughts smack u righr off that couch" look the dad gives the daughter as if shes being smart with him
)
STILL THIS IS THE BEST AT&T COMMERCIAL YET! WOOOP!

Well, if you ask me, (the poor guy, tsk, tsk, tsk....) he should call "Phil the Sonic Vampire" on her. I bet after Phil bite the petunias out of her she'll come running to hubby....

I think the thing that offends me most is that the husband's face literally falls from a proud grin to a really sad face. It's his hurt that makes me dislike this commercial so much. The guy is a very good actor to convey so much in just that few seconds after the wife makes that hurtful comment. Just my gut reaction. Tastless and not funny, at all.

I bet you must dread Verizon commercials because they make no sense when referring to their phones, right? Or maybe you despise T-Mobile commercials because the lady's dress is offensively pink? Shoot, and while you're at it, why not hate on Sprint for Dream Hands, supporting a soccer team, and wishing a centenarian a happy 100th birthday?

This commercial makes me cry every time I see it. It is so disrespectful, unloving, and abusive. I dont like thinking how many millions of children are watching it and thinking that talk is acceptable. It's played so many times on so many channels that is unavoidable. America needs to be built up right now not broken down. Please take this off the air AT&T, it's not right. This is the first time I've blogged about anything and finally found the forum where hopefully they listen.

Their two children sitting on the couch and can hear how they are 'compared' by the parents. Lisa is the prettiest so give the last spot to her, but then Kyle has a head full of hair, so maybe let him have the last spot?
I usually like the commercials (even the John Clark) but what is the one about comparing kids about? are they saying one kid is ATT and th other is "big YELLOW" i mean red?

I, like most people find that commercial distasteful and cruel and in no way humorous.
If att had to air it, I wish they would have, after her cruel remark, ended it with, "oh and I signed us up for something else, a divorce. I wish you had listened to your mother also" .

LOL i agree Dcookie! I actually like the crazy commercial, its no worse than the Phil the Sonic Vampire (but thats not att)
Even though i think she needs a flower pot for a hat, i dont think the commercial should go to congress and get yanked.
*** LONG LIVE THE ATT ONE-MAN FLASHMOB AND THE TECHNO-TWINS!*** (now those are some classic att commercials)
