Expiration Date on the Unlimited Data Feature? [ Edited ]

Today, I went to an AT&T store to upgrade to iPhone 4S. Got the upgrade and everything was ok. I was told I kept all the plan and features that I had unless I wanted to change which I didn't.

Tonight, I went in to my wireless account and saw the following under my current Unlimited Data Plan:

Data Unlimited for iPhone (To expire on 11/29/2011 )

Can anyone tell me what that expiration date means?

I called the CSR and was told that they couldn't see anything about expiration date (may have to call again during regular business hours I suppose). And what should I do? I don't want to lose my unlimited data plan.

If I am correct the representative change the data feature to be added on the said date for your iphone 4s.dont worry you can call tomorrow to double check. and if its added you can remove that plan that its goign to be added on the said date.

Thats' good to know , Coolrhyme!  whew! First time ive read a post where someone received a notice stating as of a certain date , their unlimited will expire!

i believe in our system they changed the name of the unlimited data for iphone to unlimited data for iphone 4s, idk why but its the same feautre just under a diferent name. would be nice to double check with customer care to make sure they are seeing the same thing.

Coolstorybro is so filled with informational tidbits!  So the "unlimited data plan will expire as of date/time" type message should only apply or be seen by iphone owners who are carrying their unlimited plan over to the new iphone4S. just a way for ATT to track the grandfathered plan for these users so they dont lose the coverage?  Good!

i do know thats how att is tracking it that way

for the op i would still double check with att to make sure since it was done at the store and sometimes they mess things up   (no offense out there to COR store employees   )

It's expiring your 3G iphone unlimited data plan, so you can be swtiched to the the unlimited data plan which supports HSPA+ which is the first step to "4g". read my post here

So, the new Unlimited Data plan for iPhone 4S will be a combination of 3G and "4G" HSPA+?
