Early Termination Fee question

I have a simple (and probably VERY stupid) qusetion.

I see that the fees differ from contracts being cancled BEFORE June 2010 and AFTER June 2010.

Does this mean from when you first signed up with AT&T? (i signed up late 2008-early 2009) 

Or does it mean when you get the new phone?

It would be from when you started your ast contract. Since contracts are only two years, anything from before June 2010 would no longer apply, since that contract would have run it's course.

But if the last signed contract started in May 2010 and the OP never signed a new contract, the OP is bound to the terms and conditions of the May 2010 contract. It takes a signature to accept new terms and conditions.

Never mind my previous response. Since the question is about an ETF, then obviously the contract is less than two years old. I was a little slow to catch on there-my apologies.

Like I said...it was a pretty stupid question...but I wasn't totally clear on the answer.
