I am still waiting for that one company that has enough guts to remove all of the rebates and offer phones with the price after rebates. I understand that these rebates enable them to force a two year contract and long term deals(blah blah) but they are annoying and unnecessary. After all of that, they give you a lame card. There has to be a way to just purchase a phone, if you agree to a new 2 year commitment, at the price after rebates and if you don't then you can pay more.
Just my opinion, but of course it doesn't matter.

It still requires a two-year commitment, but that's how the prices work at Walmart (like price after rebate).

you actuallythink that if they offerde a discounted price without rebate you wouldnt have to agree to a contract???
