how to stop pro rated plans

your first bill when you get service or make a change to service is the only one that is pro-rated, after that you bills will be normal

when i talked to a att customer service rep she told me when i signed up my plan is pro rated and she cant change it

I think there was a misunderstanding. you pay a month in advance but only the first bill is higher then your plan after that you only pay for the plan, any extra features and taxes.

So on a 700 minute family plan with 2 regualr phones and texting

50.00 - first phone and voice plan

09.99 - second phone

30.00 - unlimited texting

89.99

20.00 taxes and recover fees - varies by your location lets say 20.00 for total

109.99 total cost

firstt bill, half way into what would be your billing cycle for easy of explination

109.99 - normal bill

054.99 - pro-rate for first billing cycle

----------

164.99 - first pro-rated bill

second bill and repeating unless you make changes

109.99

this si a 10,000 foot explination but hope it helps you, also the first bill will have the activation charges on it for the phone(s) - 36.00 each
