I reset the stats on my iPhone 4 on the 13th of every month, the first day of my every billing cycle. It shows 89 MB of data usage since 8/14 till now, whereas my ATT account alerted me that I have reached 250 MB on 8/25! The huge 165 MB difference was generated at 9:25 pm on 8/24, when I was at home, not even using the phone. I've been using this iPhone for almost 2 years, and I've been closely watching my data usage. I never watch video or download any music or app without wifi. And my wifi is always on at home. Only since last month my data usage went crazy. I didn't look into details but this month I was very carefully tracking my data usage and then this crazy thing happened.
I noticed some other users experienced very similar problem. Could anyone explain why my iPhone stats show differently than ATT account? I'm 200% sure that 165 MB was NOT from my iPhone, coz at 9:25pm that day, it's sitting there recharging, with fully functioning wifi 5 ft away.
