Why do we have socialist AT&T in our country [ Edited ]

AT&T may have been a good company a long long time ago, however I feel they overcharge for the services rendered. I spend over 4000.00 dollars a year on two iPhones and two regular cell phones. Their customer service is decent but the people who answer the phones I am sure are not allowed to resolve issues. I know my contract is up [legal discussion removed]. I am appalled that America would allow such companies to exist but then again there are a lot of progressive liberals out there. Hopefully I will b with a new carrier by January 2013 who actually respects my business.

good luck in your endevors to locate a non-socialist carrier, although I belive the better term is capitalist. Att respects your business, jst like other carriers do it just holds you to the terms of your contractual agreement, just like the otehr carriers will do. Tier 1 CSRS can resolve your issues as long as theyr fall within the guildines and proceedures that are set forth by the company, they cannot violate those policies. You don;t always get what you want.

AT&T will do whatever they can to make money. That is, by definition, the exact opposite of socialist. 

If the US government controlled all of the cell phone resources in the country as a public good, then that would be socialist.
