Erreonous billing over $500

Our checking account was automatically debited over $500 without explanation.
Our cell phone bills are less than $200/mo and are automatically charged to our credit card.
Our land lines are Verizon and also are automaticall charged to our credit card.
We have never given AT&T permission to debit our checking account.
This is a shock!
Calls to AT&T wireless shows that our balance is current. Calls to AT&T local/lond distance show that we are not a customer.
Why was our checking account automatically debited? Will AT&T pay any possible over draft charges?
We would like answers.

If this is a fraudulent charge, contact your bank and dispute the charge. They will take care of it.
