NFC Payments

One of the selling points of the Nokia Lumia 1020 was that i would be able to make NFC payments.  I needed the secure SIM... which I got.  I needed the WP 8.1 update... which i got- 1 year later.  Now i believe AT&T has NFC payments locked until ISIS, or Softcard (they are smartly renaming themselves), becomes available.  However, they are about 12 months past due on that deadline.

Bottom line, I can't make NFC Payments. When will I be able to?

How many other people did AT&T clerks lie to in roder to sell phones that don't meet the hype?

Just researched your device.  Ah, lovely windows phone.  Apparently you have to have Softcard.  To be honest, they've spent all of this time on trying to get it to work with Android, that they probably forgot about Windows.  And now, with Kitkat for Android, we can use whatever wallet we want (I choose google).  I considered Softcard.  But unless you use Chase, forget about it.  They want to tie you in to an American Express Serve account.  No thank you.  I'd rather use the accounts I have now!
