I bought a Lumia 820 because it's the only Windows Phone 8 with a replaceable battery.
If I'm in an all day meeting and using the phone heavily, the battery gets tired by dinner time. I need to just swap out the battery, then be good to go all evening. I can't be sitting around a wall socket for an hour, waiting for a recharge (how do other phone guys deal with this?)
Apparently AT&T does not sell replacement batteries.
Apparently nobody else does either (including Nokia).
How lame is that?
The AT&T Live Chat guy first suggested I buy one at an AT&T store, but I tried that. They had never heard of a battery. So chat guy could only suggest that I ask Radio Shak, and then dropped the chat.
Anybody have a better idea than the AT&T guy?

There ARE batteries available for the Lumia 820, so cancel that complaint.
I find it quite valuable that I can slip a spare battery in my pocket. I don't need to change it out often, but when I do it's great. For example, if I'm on a long flight, and using the phone (in airplane mode), I can easily burn through the whole battery. When it runs out, I can simply swap to a fresh battery and I'm good to go. Otherwise, I'd land with a dead phone, unable to call a taxi or the hotel or my co-workers until I can find a place to sit still and plug in.
