Hi,
I was at the Microsoft Build conference last week, and got one of the Nokia Developer Lumia 920 Phones. It works great! I love it! (previously had the Lumia 900)
The only problem I have is that I cannot turn on Internet Sharing. I'm guessing that the phone does not have the right APN settings for it. Can anyone tell me what APN settings I should be using? FYI - I'm on a MobileShare plan if that makes any difference.
Thanks!

Try this (was for the lumia 900, very likely the same thing works for 920)

already had tried that. It doesn't support the Internet Sharing. Everything else works.

I finally tried the Broadband APN, and that appears to work. None of the others seem to allow tethering.

ok, not quite a winner yet. I can start the wifi hotspot/internet sharing, but when a device connects it cannot get internet access.

The local at&T device center was useless. They had no clue what to do.
ugh....and AT&T tech support has now somehow configured my 920 to only run on Edge!
why can't there be better tech support?

Any further advancement on this topic. I have tried a store and calling the suppot line. The support line walked me through a few updates and the store registered my IMEI. Neither fixed support had me hard reset my phone that did not resolve the issue.
Seems like ATT allows unlocked phones so adding an unlocked version of "hero" phone shouldn't be an issues.

No idea. Seems like it should be easy to do, but I don't have an unlocked 920 to expeirment with.

I also received a Lumina 920 at MS Build but have a different issue. I have been to the ATT store three times and they tell me that they can't enable LTE on my phone becuase the IMEI shows in their system as a Blackberry and can't be changed by ATT. They clain Nokia is the only one who can fix this.
But, Nokia support tells me that the IMEI shows up as a 920 and that ATT need to fix this.
Has anyone got a solution?

Did you get a new SIM with your phone or simply transfer your old SIM. Try a new sim because some of the old ones are not LTE compatable.

I had the same problem when they put in the imei of my Build 920. The system didn't recognize it as a "certified" device, and would only enable 2g on the phone. And I don't think the senior tech I was on with knew how to enable LTE. We ended up putting back the imei of my Lumia 900, which does support LTE. I wish they had techs that understood how to actually configure things properly.

ATT gave me a new SIM, even though my previous phone was a Lumina 900 with LTE and a 5GB data plan

ok, I finally got internet sharing working on my Build Lumia 920! Thanks to some help from xda-developers. If there is anyone here that needs it, here are the steps:
1. Reset the phone back to factory settings.
2. get into the phone, you don't have to add your microsoft account yet.
3. Enable wifi, connect to a network where you can download.
3. set the access point to AT&T LTE 2.
4. Go to keyboards, add both of the spanish keyboards. They will cause updates to be downloaded, and the phone will reboot and install them.
5. Go try to configure internet sharing. It should work now. Then you can remove the keyboards for the languages you don't need.

Are you using the same sim card from your lumia 900? If not, you may not have an LTE enabled sim card.

Sounds like there were some updates post-build that are in the final shipping product. Glad you got it sorted (weird that it didn't just update without adding a keyboard!)

I belive the real problem is that ATT says my IMEI shows that the Lumina 920 is a Blacberry and they can;t change that... only Nokia can do that
